BRYTER Assist is like a virtual first-year associate that saves you time with drafting, reviewing, and researching legal content – all with enterprise-grade security (SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certified).
Draft text
You can use Assist to quickly generate new content:
- Open Assist in your BEAMON workspace.
- Type your request in plain language, for example:
- “Draft an introduction for a client alert on ESG reporting.”
- "Write a neutral summary of this clause.”
- Review the generated text and edit it as needed.
Review documents
Assist can help you check and improve existing content:
- Paste the section of text you want to review or upload the document.
- Ask Assist to:
- Suggest improvements for style and readability.
- Check for consistency.
- Highlight potential risks or issues.
- Review the feedback and apply changes selectively.

Research information
You can use Assist in two ways when researching:
- Without tools: Assist answers based on the LLM's reasoning capabilities.

- Web Search & Legal Sources: to find information from external sources.
- Publisher Content: to access statutes, commentary, and case law from publisher databases.
Data Security and Privacy
Assist processes your queries differently depending on whether you enable tools.
Secure and locally hosted data. BRYTER is SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certified. Data is processed securely in our infrastructure or trusted hosting providers. Your data is not used for training and not shared for secondary purposes.
Processing Without Tools Enabled
- Queries are processed solely by the Large Language Model (LLM) hosted on Microsoft Azure, delivering high-quality legal answers.
- Requests and responses are deleted immediately after processing.
- Data is neither retained nor used for training.
Processing With Tools Enabled
Choose Assist with or without tools. You can enable tools such as Web Search, Legal Sources or Publisher Content.
- Only the selected tool receives your query.
- Encrypted transfer for all data.
- Minimal data is shared externally.
- Processing is governed by professional secrecy laws (§ 43e BRAO, § 203 StGB) and contractual safeguards.
- No retention beyond delivering results.

Web Search and Legal Sources
- Queries are transmitted to an external search provider, which has a zero data retention policy.
- Results are used solely to return accurate content within Assist and are deleted immediately after processing.
Publisher Content
- Retrieves statutes, commentary, literature, and case law from publisher databases.
