When you use BEAMON Extract to process documents (e.g., contracts), you can automatically store those uploaded files in your connected BRYTER database. This ensures you retain access to the original document alongside your extracted data points.
Before You Start
Make sure:
- Your Extract grid is fully set up in BEAMON.
- You’ve already connected your BEAMON Extract grid to a BRYTER database.
Sync Uploaded Files to the Platform
1. Remove all uploaded documents from your Extract grid
In BEAMON, go to your Extract grid and delete any documents you've already uploaded.
Files added before the correct database field exists will not sync retroactively. You’ll need to remove and re-upload them to trigger the sync.
2. Add a Main Contract file field in your BRYTER database
In your connected BRYTER database:
- Navigate to the CONFIGURATION tab and click Edit database fields to add another field..
- Name the new field exactly:
Main Contract - Set the Type to:
File
The name Main Contract must match exactly, including casing and spacing, for the sync to work.
3. Re-upload the documents in BEAMON
Back in your grid in BEAMON, click + Add documents in the leftmost column to re-upload your files.
4. Refresh your BRYTER database
Return to your database and refresh the page in your browser.
After refreshing, your database should now include both the extracted data points and the original files under the Main Contract column.
Note that syncing might take a few minutes depending on the number and size of documents and fields in your grid.
Confirm It Worked
Once syncing completes, check your database:
- Each row should contain the extracted data from the document.
- The corresponding file should appear in the
Main Contractcolumn.
