You can connect BEAMON Extract to the BRYTER Workflows to automatically sync extracted data from your Extract grid into a database in your no-code application. This connection enables a seamless data flow between the two products and supports end-to-end automated workflows.
- Step 1: Prepare your Extract grid
- Step 2: Create a matching database in the no-code Platform
- Step 3: Gather connection details
- Step 4: Enable the connection
- Step 5 (Optional): Add a follow-up action
Step 1: Prepare your Extract grid
Build and test your grid using your target documents. Ensure the column titles are final, as they must match the field names in your platform database exactly (including capitalization and spaces).
Step 2: Create a matching database in the no-code Platform
In the BRYTER Platform, create a new database. Ensure the column headers (field names) are an exact match to the Extract grid columns.
Step 3: Gather connection details
To configure the connection between Extract and the no-code Platform, you’ll need:
- Your Platform tenant URL
- A generated environment API key
- The Database ID of the target database
- Log in to the BRYTER no-code Platform with Admin permissions.
- Open the Admin Console.
- In the sidebar, go to Environments and select Configure next to the environment you want to use.
- Navigate to the API KEYS tab. If the tab is not available, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
- Click Generate API key, provide a name, and confirm.
Once generated, copy the key and share it with your CSM for setup.
In the Platform, open your database and scroll to the bottom of the DATA MANAGEMENT tab. Copy the Database ID listed there.
Once your database is ready and your CSM has completed the setup:
- Open your Extract project and go to Settings.
- Paste your Database ID and check the Enabled box.
- Click the Update button, then, click Test connection to verify everything works.
Step 4: Enable the connection
Once your database is ready and your CSM has completed the setup:
- Open your Extract project and go to Settings.
- Paste your Database ID and check the Enabled box.
- Click the Update button, then, click Test connection to verify everything works.
After Connecting:
- Your Extract grid will become partially read-only, meaning you will no longer be able to change queries or modify columns.
- You will still be able to edit the extracted values.
- All extracted data will be automatically pushed to the connected database whenever a new document is processed.
- You can also use the Sync button to manually trigger a sync.
Step 5 (Optional): Add a follow-up action
You can add a custom button above the Extract grid, e.g., to redirect the end user to a data view or module in the BRYTER Platform where they can continue the workflow.
- Go to Settings in the sidebar.
- Add a label for your button.
- Paste the target URL.
- Click Update.
Known limitations
- Only text, number, and date field types are supported at this time.
- Extract grids become non-editable once connected to a database. You cannot rename, remove, or add columns after the connection is established. More information.
- Only one environment API key can be used per AI Suite tenant for the time being. We recommend using your Live environment.
- The connection requires manual setup. Customers must contact their Customer Success Manager to configure the tenant URL and API key. A self-service configuration option is planned.
Occasionally asked questions
Extract will still work, but only the columns with matching names will sync to your BRYTER database. Columns with mismatched names will be ignored during the sync.
Yes, but with a few steps:
- Once the connection is enabled, the grid becomes partially read-only. If you need to modify column names or structure, you can temporarily disable the connection in your Project Settings.
- After making changes to both the grid and the database, re-enable the connection and test it again.
- Ideally, finalize your grid before setting up the connection.
- Admins have access to Project Settings, where they can manage users and configure the case database connection. They can also add or edit grid columns (but only if the database integration is not enabled).
- Collaborators can work with documents and extracted values but cannot access configuration settings.
