Once your documents have been added to the grid and your query columns configured, it's time to review the extracted results and, when ready, export your structured data for further use.
Use the Document View
Click on any extracted output to open a side-by-side modal with:
- The AI’s answer and query at the top
- The original document view
- Purple-highlighted reference sections
Use this view to:
- Zoom in/out of the document
- Jump between references
- Click on the numbers in the reference bar at the bottom to highlight source snippets
References may span several lines of text and multiple documents (in case of document bundles) — review the context carefully to validate accuracy.
Review Extracted Data
To access the review interface:
-
Go to the Review tab in the left-hand navigation.
The Review tab becomes active once at least one document has been added to the grid.
-
Here, you’ll see each document listed individually, along with all the queries you've configured.
For each document:
- A status indicator shows how many queries have already been confirmed, e. g., 0 of 2 confirmed.
- Each query displays:
- The query output
- An option to Edit answer or Confirm the answer
- A visual indicator once confirmed (green side bar + confirmation label)
Use the Previous and Next buttons (top right) to move through all documents.
You can use the search bar to find queries. Simply start typing the question.
Confirm or Edit Answers
- Confirm the output if it’s correct. This collapses the query, marks it with a green status, and logs your name and the confirmation date.
- Edit the answer if it’s partially correct or needs refinement. A manual entry field will appear.
- You can undo a confirmation or edit later if needed.
Editing an answer is treated as a confirmation, since it means you’ve reviewed the information.
Export Your Data
Once you’re satisfied with the extracted and confirmed answers:
- Return to the Grid tab.
- Click Download Excel File in the top right.
- An Excel file will be generated including all extracted data per document
You can further analyze, clean, or import this file into other tools or systems.
Instead of exporting to Excel, you can also connect BRYTER Extract to the BRYTER no-code Platform.
