You can copy and paste conditions within the Rule Builder in a BRYTER module to save time and streamline your building process. You can copy and paste conditions in transitions and in conditional blocks.
This feature allows you to duplicate
Please note that when pasting conditions, ensure that all variables used in the conditions are available at the location where you paste them. Otherwise, the condition may break, which could result in an error message for end users.
Copy and paste a single condition
To copy and paste a single condition:
- Select the single condition you want to copy by clicking in the light blue space between its fields.
- Copy the single condition using the keyboard shortcut Control+C (or on a Mac: ⌘ command+C).
- Select the target location where you want to paste the condition. This can be the main level of the Rule Builder or a group within the Rule Builder.
- Paste the single condition to the selected target with the keyboard shortcut Control+V (or on a Mac: ⌘ command+V).
Copy and paste a condition group
To copy and paste a condition group:
- Select the condition group you want to copy by clicking inside the group.
- Copy the condition group using the keyboard shortcut Control+C (or on a Mac: ⌘ command+C).
- Choose the target location where you want to paste the condition group. The conditions will be added as a condition group to your target.
- Paste the condition group to the selected target with the keyboard shortcut Control+V (or on a Mac: ⌘ command+V).
Copy and paste all conditions
To copy and paste all conditions:
- elect the entire space of the Rule Builder by clicking into it.
- Copy the conditions using the keyboard shortcut Control+C (or on a Mac: ⌘ command+C).
- Select the target location where you want to paste all the conditions. This can be the main level of the Rule Builder or a group within the Rule Builder.
- Paste the conditions to the selected target with the keyboard shortcut Control+V (or on a Mac: ⌘ command+V).
