When publishing an application, you can configure how it is displayed in a portal. For the heading, the display name of the application will be used, which can be adapted on the Components page. Additionally, you can add a description and upload an image for the application’s portal card. This design will apply to the portal of each environment that displays the application.
Note that a published application is only displayed in the portal of a specific environment if configured to do so by the BRYTER admin. If you want your application to be included in a particular portal, kindly reach out to your BRYTER admin for assistance.
Style the portal card
As an author, you can add a unique look to your portals by uploading a cover image and adding a description to your portals.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the respective application.
- Select Publish in the side navigation. The portal card menu displays at the bottom of the page.
- To add a cover image, drag the file into the designated area or click to upload. Your image should be of types .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .svg, or .webp, not larger than 5MB and, ideally, aim for an aspect ratio of 2:1 for the image.
- To provide additional information for the application of up to 80 characters, enter it in the input field below.
- Select Save changes.
