Content created on the BRYTER platform is backed up on a daily basis and stored on physically separated servers. This process is logged and the logs of the backup process are stored on systems where the backup copy is made. All backup data is encrypted using 256bit AES. Every backup copy is checked at least once a week to guarantee a frictionless restoration process. The backup server is part of the database server which is separated from the application server. BRYTER uses AWS security groups and AWS network access control lists to limit traffic between these components.
Data retention
All kinds of user data, including inputs or generated documents, are retained during the contractual period with each customer, starting from the date when the user-created that data. Exceptions can be defined in the SLA. You can always exercise your right to be forgotten at any time using the data deletion order.
