When configuring the Test or Live environment in the Admin console, you can define default settings for authors who publish modules to Test or Live. Additionally, you can enforce a consent message that authors need to accept before publishing a module.
Access
Access the environment configurations via the Environments menu item in the Admin console. Then, click Configure and select the MODULES tab.
Configure default settings
Admins can configure default settings for publishing modules. All activated toggles are pre-selected for authors when they go to publish a module to this environment.
In the General Settings, admins can:
- limit storage of end user answers,
- enable come back later and restart this page,
- pre-select a module theme.
The Access Settings enable admins to set a default password requirement or accessibility via an API key if enabled on your tenant.
Admins can also add a custom Consent Message that will be displayed in the publishing interface and needs to be confirmed by the author when publishing the module.
Author view and publishing interface
The pre-selected setting toggles display once an author chooses to publish a module for the first time to the Test or Live environment. Authors need to confirm that they understand the terms by clicking the check box below the consent message.
