Your organization has chosen to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) for BRYTER access, streamlining the login process. This allows you to log in to BRYTER using your primary account credentials, such as your MS 365 or Microsoft Teams login.
Logging in with SSO
Once SSO has been activated for your BRYTER tenant, follow these steps to log in:
-
Start by logging in with your existing user, author, or admin account.
-
Navigate to your BRYTER tenant, e.g. yourorganizationname.bryter.io/
-
Upon logging in for the first time after SSO activation, you will encounter the following dialogue:
-
If you see this message, it indicates that an account with the same email address already exists in your tenant. Click on Add to existing account, and you will be prompted to link your existing account with your (Microsoft) account.
-
An email will be sent to your registered email account, and you must verify your account by clicking on Link to confirm account linking.
-
After successfully verifying the account, you can access BRYTER while logged into your primary (Microsoft) account.
Important information
If you wish to review your profile, you can modify your first name, last name, and email address. However, please note that these changes will not persist, as they will be overwritten by SAML during the next login. Any changes to your name or email can only be applied within your internal active directory and not within BRYTER.
To make such changes, please contact your internal administrator once SSO is enabled.
After verification
Once your account is verified, you can seamlessly log in to BRYTER with the assigned end user, author, or admin role. Authors and admins can access the BRYTER workspace as usual and continue working on their applications. Users, including authors and admins, can also access and use published modules with restricted access, denoted by the Only accessible after login access settings.
First login for new users
For individuals who did not have a BRYTER account before SSO was enabled and are currently logged into their primary account, logging in to BRYTER will be straightforward. You will be instantly logged into the BRYTER workspace if you were provided with an author or admin account, allowing you to commence building applications. Users, including authors and admins, will also have access to and can utilize published modules with restricted access, as indicated by the Only accessible after login access settings.
