Create clickable hyperlinks in the content field of all types of input nodes, Text Block value nodes, Send Email and Handover action nodes, as well as Result nodes.
Add a link
To add a hyperlink,
- highlight the desired text or select the position where you want to place the link.
- Then, click on the chain icon in the content field configuration menu.
- In the modal, enter the link and confirm your selection by clicking the blue Add link button.
Alternatively, select the text you want to turn into a link and paste a URL from the clipboard to create a hyperlink. By default, the link will open in a new tab.
To open the link in the same window, deselect the Open URL in new tab option.
You can edit an existing link by selecting the hyperlink and clicking the link icon.
You can also reference variables in hyperlinks. For example, you can append a value at the end of a URL to lead to a certain subpage, or reference a whole URL from a Text Block value node based on end user inputs.
Create clickable phone numbers and email addresses
- To create a clickable phone number, type tel:+ followed by the unformatted phone number in the Link field of the Add link interface.
Omit any blank spaces, e.g., tel:+44123456789. - To create a clickable email address, type mailto: followed by the email address in the Link field of the Add link interface, e.g., mailto:support@bryter.io.
