Follow this tutorial to learn how to enable the sending and receiving of automatic notifications to your MS Teams channel without complex integrations.
Send automatic notifications to a Microsoft Teams Channel
Follow the steps below:
- Open the Teams tab in Microsoft Teams.
- Access More options by clicking on the three dot icon next to the channel name you wish to notify.
- Select Get email address and click Copy in the modal.
- In your BRYTER module, create a Send email action. Paste the email address in the Send to field. Make sure to paste only the email address and delete any additional text.
- Finally, provide a subject line and the email content, then publish your module

Occasionally Asked Questions
Why isnβt my Teams notification appearing in the channel?
This can happen if the channelβs email settings are too restrictive.
To fix it, go to the channel in Microsoft Teams, click the three dots ... Get email address Advanced settings, and make sure Anyone can send emails to this address is enabled.
Once this is turned on, the notification should appear in the channel as expected.
