Note on legacy behavior: "Service" renamed to "Application"
What previously was called Services within the BRYTER platform is now renamed to Applications making it more self-explanatory and convenient for our customers.
Further, the Service Frontend is now referred to as Publish Application.
Access to published Applications
Can any end-users access and use published Applications?
Only authenticated users, end-users with an attributed user role (admin, author, user) with a BRYTER account can use published Applications. Published Applications cannot be used for public audiences.
Data Views and external pages
How can I integrate Data Views into published Applications?
Data Views cannot be selected to appear in the Publish Application navigation, though they can be integrated through a Module with a Redirect Result Node with a selected Data View.
How can I integrate or link to external pages?
External webpages can be integrated through a Module consisting of only one Redirect Result Node redirecting to a Custom URL, to integrate a URL such as https://bryter.com/.

Published Application navigation
How can I hide components in the navigation and show them to certain users only?
Which components are included in the published Application navigation depends on the user's access settings of the respective modules and/or whether or not the authenticated user is authorized. For example, you can decide to show Data View "All open cases" only to authorized users (managers). The final published Application would look like this:
|End-user view||Manager view|
- To include Data View, create and publish Module "All open cases" first and redirect to the Data View of the same name
- Open Module All open cases
- Configure access settings
1. Activate Only accessible after login
2. Activate Only accessible for certain users and Select users
3. Add the manager's email address, e.g., of user "Martin Manager"
