Your organization has decided to set up Single-Sign-On (SSO). This means that you can log into BRYTER with your main account, e.g. your MS 365 or Microsoft Teams login.
Once SSO has been enabled on your BRYTER tenant, you will need to be logged into your system, e.g. MS Teams, and follow these steps to log into BRYTER:
First login with an existing user, author, or admin account
- Navigate to your BRYTER tenant, e.g. yourorganizationname.bryter.io/
- When logging in for the first time once SSO has been enabled, you will see the following dialogue.
- If you see this message after you log in, it means that an account with the same email address exists in your tenant. Click on Add to existing account and you will be prompted to link the existing account with your (Microsoft) account.
- An email is now sent to your email account and you need to verify your account by clicking on Link to confirm account linking.
- After you verify the account, you can use BRYTER if you are logged into your main (Microsoft) account.
❗ If you click on Review profile, you can change your first name, last name, and email address. Please note that these changes won't persist as they will be overridden by SAML on the next login. This means that any changes to your name or email can only be successfully applied in your internal active directory and not within BRYTER. All changes made in the Admin Console within BRYTER will not persist.
Please reach out to your internal administrator to request changes once SSO is enabled.
After verification
Once you have verified your account, you’ll be able to log into BRYTER frictionless with the type of role (user, author, admin) you’ve been assigned. As an author or admin, you can access your BRYTER workspace as you normally would and continue working on your Applications. As a user (and author or admin) you will also be able to access and use published modules with restricted access, i.e. access settings are set to 'Only accessible after login'.
First login without an existing user, author, or admin account
If you never had a BRYTER account before SSO was enabled and you are logged into your main account, logging into BRYTER will be frictionless. You will be immediately logged into the BRYTER workspace if you were distributed an author or admin account and can start building Applications. As a user (and author or admin) you will also be able to access and use published modules with restricted access, i.e. access settings are set to 'Only accessible after login'.
