BRYTER has an add-in for Microsoft Word that allows you to automate Word document templates for automation in BRYTER quickly and easily.
The add-in gives you quick and easy access to all of the BRYTER placeholders and commands that can be used inside your Word template. The add-in is not required to create Word document templates for automation in BRYTER as you are able to manually enter placeholders and commands.
Requirements and set-up
Please see this article for details on how your organisation's IT admin can set-up the add-in for your use.
Once set-up by your IT admin, you can access the BRYTER Microsoft Word Add-in by going to the 'Home' tab in the 'ribbon' in Microsoft Word and selecting the button on right right that is a large 'B' icon labelled 'Show Taskpane'. This will open the BRYTER Microsoft Word Add-In on the right hand side of your document.
The current version provides you with existing BRYTER commands and lets you copy those to the representative part of the document.
You can insert commands by clicking to the designated part of the document and then simply clicking the command to insert it in that place.
Additionally, for placeholders only, you can select the placeholder text and then clicking the placeholder button for the double curly brackets to wrap around automatically, creating the placeholder.
