Module authors can now restrict access to published modules on the Test and Live environment directly within the Publishing Settings. Different environments can also have different sets of allowed users. For example, test versions of a module could only be accessible for a specific audience such as internal testers whereas Live environments are restricted to selected clients.
Publish your module to Test or Live to get a shareable link and to be able to add selected users. Please note that you need to first publish the module to the respective environment before you can add users.
In the publishing dialog, select 'Only accessible to logged-in users'. Once selected, the stricter "Only accessible to selected internal users" setting will be displayed. If 'Only accessible for selected internal users' is selected, you can click 'Select users'.
Upon clicking 'Select users', the Configure Test Environment dialog will open. Here, you can add selected users of your published module by typing or pasting their email address into the grey field.
This user must already exist (and not have been deactivated) on your tenant. Users do not need to be an Author with access to the BRYTER backend but need to be assigned the 'Module User' role. A warning message will be displayed if the email address cannot be attributed to an existing Module Author or Module User.
Please note that your admin can add Module Users in the Admin Console. If SSO is enabled on your tenant, these users need to be mapped in your active directory. These users can be added in "Select internal users" once they activated their user account.
